Recruitment of Visiting Lecturers for Diploma in German Language Proficiency Programme – 2025
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons relevant to the Diploma in German Language Proficiency program conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, through the Distance and Continuing Education Unit (DCEU) of the University of Ruhuna.
How to Apply:
Completed applications must be submitted to the Distance and Continuing Education Unit (DCEU) via email (forms@dceu.ruh.ac.lk), by hand, or through registered post.
Applicants must submit certified copies of relevant educational and professorial certificates, a birth certificate, a national identity card, and an updated curriculum vitae with the completed application on or before 25 January 2025.
When sending the application by hand or registered post, it is important to write the position name in the upper left corner of the envelope. Please address the application to the Director of the Distance and Continuing Education Unit at the University of Ruhuna, Wellamadama, Matara.

Post of Visiting Lecturer - Department of English Language Teaching & Distance and Continuing Education Unit
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Visiting Lecturers in the Department of English Language Teaching in collaboration with the Distance and Continuing Education Unit to conduct Extension Courses in English (Diploma and Certificate Programs) on weekends.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Teaching Experience: At least one year of experience in teaching English
